Day Two Highlights and Day Three Agenda
NASHVILLE, TN, March 26, 2026 – The second day of the inaugural Manufacturing & Automation eXchange (MAX) delivered a full schedule of insight, innovation, and networking, highlighted by a compelling keynote presentation from Jaemin Kim (pictured below), Marketing Director at the Smart Factory Solutions Center & Production Engineering Research Institute at LG Electronics.
In his keynote, “The Future of Manufacturing,” Kim shared how advanced technologies, automation, and AI are reshaping global manufacturing and driving the evolution of smart factories.
Throughout the day, attendees explored a dynamic exhibit hall and participated in dozens of education sessions focused on real-world applications across automation, robotics, workforce development, and digital transformation.
Pictured below are panelists Bob Teska (Dalen Products), Bill Good (GE Appliances), and John Sprovieri (ASSEMBLY) who shared real-world insights on reshoring manufacturing during the session “Bringing It Home: Lessons Learned from Manufacturers That Have Reshored Production” at the Manufacturing & Automation eXchange (MAX) in Nashville, addressing supply chain resilience, workforce considerations, and the complexities of returning production to the U.S.
This panel discussion was part of the MAX eXperience education program, which included sessions on packaging legislation, laying the groundwork for AI success, predictive analytics, turning a factory into a smart/connected facility, and much more. The day concluded with a well-attended networking happy hour on the show floor at the Music City Center, bringing together industry leaders, engineers, and innovators.

- MAX eXperience Conference: (9:30 am – 1:00 pm) Main Stage sessions and roundtables addressing coatings in the era of smart manufacturing, future-ready workforce, and workforce development deep-dive.
- Plant Tours (12:00 pm – 4:00 pm) Guided tours of Nissan’s Smyrna Vehicle Assembly Plant (sold out) and LG’s Tennessee Lighthouse Factory Tour are invite-only experiences which offer rare access to these companies inner workings.
